Care Guide

When using high quality natural materials, there are a few more steps to take to ensure that your footwear lasts to its full lifespan. We suggest taking the time with a little maintenance on your leather shoes to help them last a lifetime.

We recommend investing in a good quality leather conditioner. Keeping the leather well-conditioned helps the leather stay hydrated, as well as buffing away any minor scuffs or scratches.

Avoid contact with abrasive surfaces such as sand and gravel as this will erode the leather. Avoid contact with solvents and salts.
Avoid water as this may cause soles to delaminate.

International delivery, 7 - 14 business days, $30.00 flat rate. 

La Tribe offers track and trace delivery. You can track your order directly by using the tracking code that will be emailed to you upon us shipping your order. If you can’t find your tracking code, email us info@latribe.co.nz

  • Allow 2 - 3 business days for us to process your order after it is placed.
  • All orders require a signature upon delivery.
  • Please note we do not post to PO Box addresses. 
  • We are unable to re-route orders once they have been sent.
  • Any orders placed on weekends/public holidays will be sent the next business day.

Delivery timeframes are just an indication and La Tribe will not be held accountable for longer delivery times. Cancellations will not be accepted due to a delivery being late. A copy of your receipt will be provided via email. It is important to hold onto a copy of your receipt should you wish to return or exchange your purchase.

Duties and Taxes

International orders are subject to duties and taxes determined by the country to which they are shipped. These fees are the purchasers responsibility. La Tribe has no control over processing times or duty rates by customs in each country. We suggest getting familiar with your countries duties thresholds to avoid any large orders being held at customs. All orders are shipped from New Zealand.

Lost Parcels

If you’re not home when a driver attempts delivery, they will take it to their depot. If they’ve done so, you will need to get in contact with the courier company to arrange redelivery/collection. La Tribe does not take responsibility for items left.

In the unfortunate event that a parcel is lost in transit, a claim must be made within 14 days of the order date and once the investigation is completed and confirmed lost during transit, La Tribe will replace or refund the item. However, if the order can be tracked and traced to have arrived at its final destination, La Tribe is not liable for the order. 

After 30 days of shipment date, La Tribe will no longer be liable to claim for lost delivery or for the receival of your order, please be proactive if you have any delivery issues and we will do our best to find a solution right away. Anything outside of 30 days will need to be done independently with the courier service.

Same Day Delivery

Why wait for your shoes when you can get them on the same day you ordered them! This is a great option if you live in Central Auckland.

  • Cut off is before 12pm on the day of. This is to allow for traffic. 
  • This service is not offered on weekends and public holidays.
  • Please don't pick this option if you are at a rural address or 20km away from Henderson.

Returns and Exchanges

As a brand, we strive to create wearable luxury by using premium materials to craft our products. Our team thoroughly quality control products prior to shipment, and we work hard to create products that are made to last you through the seasons but understand sometimes this is not always the case. If you are not completely happy with your new purchase you are able to return it within 14 days from receiving your order, all purchases become final after this time frame. Items must be unworn and in its original packaging.

Footwear Returns Process

For all footwear return/exchange requests, please accurately fill in the steps of our returns portal https://360.postco.co/latribe. All return costs are the responsibility of the customer. For all exchanges we will happily deliver the new item to you at our cost provided we have received your returned order.

If you have purchased from a La Tribe retailer, you must follow the individual store returns process. All returns purchased through a La Tribe retailer must be returned to the store originally purchased from. 

Returns will be processed within 1-2 business days of us receiving.

Our returns policy excludes earrings and all sale items unless faulty. 

We do not accept returns/exchanges on sale items.

All returns are at the discretion of La Tribe.

Damaged or Faulty Items

We take all possible lengths to ensure the best quality of our products. Unfortunately in some cases faults can occur due to human error and also working with natural fibres. If you have received an order and do not believe it is up to standard or has faults, please contact us as soon as possible. Any manufacturing fault returns are to be thoroughly assessed in house. Please note we require any faulty items back first to assess thoroughly before we can provide a solution. If your item is found to be faulty, we will offer a high quality repair and if the product is not repairable, a replacement or full refund will be offered.  

Please Note any manufacturing faults must be returned within 3 months of purchase, anything outside of this will not be covered under warranty. Any damage caused by lack of care for the item will not be covered under warranty.  

Return Policy

Please note we cannot process returns for purchases made from another retailer.

We do not accept returns on sale items, please choose carefully. 

We do not accept returns on earrings, unless faulty. 

Items must be returned brand new and unworn with all original packaging.

Products need to be returned within 14 days for a refund (excl shipping) or exchange. Returns must include our returns form provided, filled out with correct details, including your order number, reason for returning and whether it is an exchange or refund request. It is important we have as much information as possible to process your return promptly. Items need to be returned in a saleable condition. Unworn in its original packaging. 

A refund (excl. shipping) will be returned to the same account used to purchase the item. Once processed, it may take 3 - 5 business days for the funds to show back into your account. You will be responsible for returning the item at your own cost. We would strongly recommend a trackable shipping method. If your return becomes lost in shipping La Tribe will not take responsibility of loss or damaged items during transit.
